If you really need a response right away but you cannot tell the person: "Answer me now, dammit!" I always find this line does the job flawlessly, while also keeping it civilized:
"Looking forward to hearing from you"
You follow by 'Best regards' or some variation thereof, and voilà: You have a quick reply to your email.
